I’m a Game Designer studying at FutureGames in Boden. My main interests are Gameplay and System Design, as I love to think about how the player will interact with the game; I want to create experiences that have at their core “Player agency”.

I also have experience in Level and Puzzle Design

Before moving to Sweden, I lived in Italy, where I got a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Science at “La Sapienza, Rome University”. I always had a passion for Game Design, but I never had the chance to actually get my hands dirty with it, until a friend of mine invited me to join him on some small projects.

These were mainly aimed at learning by doing, and we focused on Puzzle games; the most notable project we worked on, even if not published, is “Metro Physis”. Thanks to these experiences, I felt pushed towards following my passion for Game Design and decided to study abroad.

During the Game Projects we had at FutureGames, I had the chance to develop skills in different areas of Game Design, like Level and Gameplay, and test myself in leading roles.

I also spend my own time refining these skills with smaller side projects, usually focused on System and Level Design.

I also have an interest in sociological studies, which is what drove me to study Communication in the beginning; I use my knowledge in this subject to understand player’s engagement and ways to interact with games, but also to better express my ideas to others.
